Easy Cheese Pie
“This recipe is
from my husband’s mother and is one of his favorite pies.”
“He likes all
pies!”
1 ˝ cups cottage
cheese, large or small curd
2 tablespoons
flour
2 eggs
˝ cup sugar
1 teaspoon
vanilla
˝ cup milk
1 9-inch pie
shell
Beat eggs. Add sugar, flour, cheese, vanilla and
milk. Mix well. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at
400-degrees for about 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 350-degrees. Bake until firm, about 25 minutes more or
until knife inserted into center comes out clean. Remove from oven. Cool!
A topping of ˝ can cherry pie filling may be used. If not used, sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg
prior to baking.
