cups ham or smoked pork sausage, cut in ½ -inch cubes
2 16-ounce
cans navy beans, with juice
4 tablespoons
ketchup
3 tablespoons
syrup
1 ½
cups tomatoes, chopped
1 small onion,
chopped
1 teaspoon
prepared mustard
Put beans in baking dish.
Add all ingredients. Salt and pepper to taste.
Spread on top of beans. Cover
with bacon strips. Bake in a 375-degree
oven until bacon is brown, about 45 minutes.
